The centenary of the birth of the Czech painter, sculptor, graphic artist and teacher Arnošt Paderlík (1919 - 1999) is commemorated by an exhibition in the Millennium Gallery in Lesser Town, where his drawings and sculptures from the 1960s and 1970s are exhibited.

In 1937–1943 Arnošt Paderlík studied at the School of Applied Arts under František Kysela. He joined the group Seven in October, in 1943 to SVU Mánes and two years later to the Hollar Association of Czech Graphic Artists. From 1963 he taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, where he led the Studio of Figural and Monumental Painting. His students include Michael Rittstein.
